I’m Kazu(Research student). I got an email from Titus last week and, on hehalf of him, I upload a massage for Abe-lab members from him.

I journeyed through the complexities of modern Tokyo, beheld the majestic heights of Mt Fuji, danced under the pure snows of Hokkaido, and embraced the living history of Kyoto. I may have scaled the very places that paints the pride of Japan and experienced the eternal values that define its very culture.
But despite all that, what remains rooted deep within my heart was you.
For it was through my time at ABE Lab where I truly felt the heart of Japan. All of you showed me what Japan really is, and I learned that the very heart of Japan was defined by the hearts of the people.
Thank you ABE Lab for being the heart of my Japan experience. All of you gave me much more than what my travels and experiences could ever give. And it is all of you that truly takes a place in my heart.
To Abe-sensei, it was a great honour being your student. You are not only a sensei, but also a father and a friend to us. And the group is truly privileged to have you as their guide.
To Yoshida-san, just as Abe-sensei mentions, ABE Lab truly cannot live without you! Your gentleness and dedication never fails to brighten the lab everyday!
And to ABE Lab members, all of you have such tremendous potential and ability, and I truly believe all of you will achieve heights that you never imagined you could achieve. It was my honour being among all of you.
It was my greatest honour to be in ABE Lab. I doubt I will ever find the right words to describe my time here, but I also doubt that I will ever forget my time with all of you. It tears me apart thinking that the time has come for me to leave, but I refuse to say さよなら, but rather, じゃ、また, for I hope that we will meet sometime in the near future, God willing.
So, till we meet again, all the very best to all of you! You will remain in my thoughts and my prayers.
