Thai’s Commencement Ceremony

             Hello everyone, I’m Tarinee from Thailand. I am now an M1 student. I would like to share some of my memorable moment in my life.

      Recently, i got a chance to be a part of the commencement ceremony for my bachelor degree which is quite importance to me and my family since this is kind of only chance  to get to see the princess ,Somdet Phra Theppharatratsuda Chao Fa Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Ratthasimakhunakonpiyachat Sayamborommaratchakumari , with my own eye. The procedure of Thai’s university commencement ceremonies are basically similar in every university but if the university invite any royal to the ceremony the procedure will be more intense. for example, My university ,King Mongkut’s institute of technology ladkrabang , held 3 rehearsals before we can enter the graduation ceremony. The first rehearsal is for the group picture of the whole student in the university which in my case around 5,000 students. The second is for each department to practice their student how to walk and how to receive the certificate from the princess. The third rehearsal is the last rehearsal at the real place. On the graduation ceremony day, everybody have to walk through the metal detector to make sure that we didn’t carry anything into the hall. The picture are from the ceremony.
