March 28, 2022 was the main graduation day of 2022, the day I felt happiness and a kind of sadness as in every year. Four of our group members successfully completed their degrees and moved on to their next steps. Good luck、everyone!
The kick-off meeting of AY 2021 with the three new members was held on April 14. We warmly welcomed Megumi, Pat and Riho as the new members. I hope the three students have productive and memorable learning and research experience at Tokyo Tech.
We introduced ourselves with each other and I was truly impressed with the various talents that our members have. It also turned out that there are a cat-lover group and a dog-lover group! Coincidently we had a special cute guest in the photo session. I guess he has not decided whether or not he would study with us, maybe busy for doing something different (and fun).
Under the current pandemic, unfortunately, our face-to-face communication and activities are still restricted but with our courage and creative mind-sets, I really hope we could make our daily lives interesting and positive.

On March 26 (Fri.), two students from our group, Taro and Masaya, officially completed their bachelor degree studies and were awarded Bachelor of Engineering. Congratulations!
Due to the pandemic, the ceremony was simplified but their accomplishments cannot be simplified. Well done, Taro and Masaya!
I also would like to extend warmest congratulations to the second batch of GSEP students. It was really good moment to have seen many wonderful smiles. Wish you all the best in the next steps!
Mr. Purevsuren Norovsambuu ‘Nosa’ (M1) won the best presenter!!
GEDES Interim Presentation for Master Course in the winter of 2021 was held on 16th February.
He gave the presentation on ‘Reducing commercial water loss of non-revenue water in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia’.
Congratulation, Nosa!!
One of our group members, Nadiya completed her master degree study on Sep. 25, 2020. It has been uncertain, difficult and challenging time since late March this year due to Covid-19 but she successfully managed her graduate study. Congratulations! I wish her good luck for her next step. Stay in touch and stay safe always!
