Our very special guest speaker yesterday was Dr. Erik Ahlgren, professor at the Department of Energy and Environment at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden . Erik has explained very interesting case studies as shown below.
1.Use of large-scale excess heat in district heating;
2.A market based approach for increased improved cook stove adoption; and
3.Use of rice husk as fuel in Cambodia.
Those topics were helping us all to think about how the projects are evaluated and being implemented in different region of the world. He also suggested maintaining the credibility as a project manager is necessary for the success of those projects.
It was very nice that our lab plays host of him and many students have joined the event. Thank you very much again for Dr. Erik.
