Twice a year, our lab holds a joint seminar with the Kameyama-Tasaki-Matsuhashi and Moriguchi research groups from University of Tokyo. The latest joint seminar was held at the Hongo campus of University of Tokyo on December 18th.
There were six presentations by graduate students from all three laboratories. The research topics presented ranged from “Economical Operation of Large-Scale Photovoltaic Power Plants under Uncertainty” by Ishio-san from our lab, to “Development of comprehensive built environment efficiency indicator in Southeast Asia based on CASBEE” by a Masters student from Kameyama-Tasaki-Matsuhashi lab.

It was very interesting to learn that Morizumi-san of Abe lab and a Moriguchi lab member shared a similar research theme: the influence of product information on consumers’ behavior.

As always, there was a small party after the presentations. Faculty and students mingled with each other casually over pizza, finger food and drinks (and some alcohol). The evening ended with a group photo and well wishes for those graduating this semester.
