He has experienced great careers as a senior executive for one European and three American high technology companies. Then, now he has decided to get the position of Charimanand Director of Airbus Japan. The reason is that he has his rule to overcome monopoly in any sectors. In Japan, Boeing has 94% of share for selling aircraft. Then, he thinks it is his challenge to penetrate this situation. For me, it is impressive decision because he has chosen his job to achieve his own purpose. It means he “Decides” company, not “Is decided” by company.

The other impressive message was that he is worried about current situations of Japanese education and future from the point of globalization.

Now, less Japanese students want to go abroad. But it is not good for Japanese future. In recent years, we have to accept globalization when we do business in any field. To survive in the situation of globalization, we need human network, proficient language skill and experience of knowing human diversity in the world.

Under this situation, academic education is definitely important to bring up refined students.

After his speech, I am motivated to study English and try to seek get chance to train myself in international environment.
