同窓会会長就任の挨拶

令和6年5月25日の同窓会総会において、会員の皆様のご支持をいただき、クルニアワン・ウィナルト先生の後任としてIDEALの新会長に就任いたしました張カツシと申します。今後は同窓会の発展に誠心誠意尽くして参りたい所存でございます。

本同窓会は2007年（平成19年）7月に誕生してから数回の組織改革を経て、17年経とうとしています。その間、卒業生の交流の場となると同時に、学部、専攻、今では系の在校生を支援して参りました。私自身は同窓会の恩恵を受けている一人であり、感謝の気持ちを申し上げたいと存じます。今後は今まで通り、卒業生及び在校生を支援していくと同時に、卒業生と在学生の間の交流もさらに深まるように努力していきたいと存じます。

令和6年は東京工業大学の歴史に残る一年になるでしょう。東京工業大学は東京医科歯科大学と統合し、東京科学大学となる予定でございます。しかし、当同窓会は当初の理念を引き継ぎ、開発システム工学、国際開発工学、融合理工学系そして統合後の組織に所属する学生を引き続き支援して参りたい所存でございます。

IDEALは変化を恐れず、時代とともに変わり、その時代に適した姿で繫栄していくことを確信しております。それために皆さまの貴重なご意見は不可欠だと考えております。どのようなご意見でも積極的に募り、会員の方々と一緒に今の時代に即した同窓会にしていきたいと考えております。

最後に会員の方々の引き続きのご支援とご協力をどうぞ宜しくお願い申し上げます。

I would like to express my best gratitude for giving me the chance to become the new head of alumni association, IDEAL. I will try my best to fulfill the trust and make the alumni better in the future.

Founded on July 2007, IDEAL has a 17-years history. During this period, although the name of the department has changed for some times, IDEAL continues not only to provide the platform for alumni, but also to give current students lots of support. I, myself, have received benefits from IDEAL and would like to express my gratitude to IDEAL. In the future, we will continue to support students and at the same time would like to deepen the interaction between the current students and the alumni.

As you all know, 2024 will be a historical year for Tokyo Tech. Tokyo Tech will merge with Tokyo Medical and Dental University from October. The new name of the university will be Institute of Science Tokyo. However, the policy that IDEAL will help our students to become a leader on a global stage remains unchanged. We will support and welcome students and alumni from whatever Development Systems Engineering, International Development Engineering, Transdisciplinary Science and Engineering or the new department after the merger.

IDEAL will never be afraid of change. I think IDEAL will change with the times and thrive in the most appropriate form with confidence.　And I believe that your advice and opinions will be the most essential to this. So, we welcome any advice from our members or alumni that keep IDEAL in a relevant position to the current times.

Finally, I am appreciative of the support and cooperation from all members.
