同窓会会長就任の挨拶

国際開発工学同窓会（IDEAL）の第3代会長に就任いたしました、クルニアワン・ウィナルトです。平成29年8月5日の同窓会総会・懇親会において、皆様のご支持をいただき、ピパットポンサー・ティラポン先生の後任として、会長の大任を仰せ付かりまして、身の引き締まる思いでございます。
本同窓会は2007年（平成19年）7月に誕生しました。設立から10年と同窓会組織としてはまだ若いですが、その短い期間で母専攻の学生たちに様々な貢献して参りました。これは日頃より会員方々の同窓会へのご支援・ご厚情のお陰と、厚く感謝しております。
平成28年本学の教育改革を機に、国際開発工学専攻という名称はなくなりましたが、その精神、「世界を舞台に活躍できるエンジニアを教育する」という理念は引き続き融合理工学系地球環境共創コースのコアとして活かされています。そのため、これからも国際開発工学同窓会として融合理工学系地球環境共創コースを中心に母校である東京工業大学への貢献を続けて参りたいと思います。その考えを実行するに当り、会員各位のご理解とご協力が不可欠であります。同窓会に対してご支援・ご協力の程宜しくお願い申し上げます。
同窓会に関して、一層の充実等課題はありますが、引き継ぎ積極的に取り組んでまいりたいと思います。どうか会員の皆様にIDEALの更なる発展、同窓会繁栄の為に温かいご支援をお願い申し上げますとともに、皆様の益々のご活躍、ご発展を祈念し、会長の就任の挨拶とさせていただきます。
I would like to express my gratitude for the trust that was given to me, to become the third head of International Development Engineering Alumni Association (IDEAL). This is a big responsibility, and I will try to do my best to fulfill the trust that was given to me.
IDEAL was founded on July 2007. Ten years of history has passed, and even though IDEAL still young as an association, it had already been able to contribute specially to the students of International Development Engineering during this short period of time. This is all possible because the enduring support from the members of IDEAL, to whom I would like to express my deepest gratitude.
After the education reform in Tokyo Institute of Technology in the year of 2016, the name ‘International Development Engineering’ will be phased out. However, its spirit ‘to educate engineers that are capable to actively flourish in world arena’ still remains, and become the core principle of undergraduate major in Transdisciplinary Science and Engineering and graduate major in Global Engineering for Development, Environment, and Society. Therefore, we would like to continue to contribute to Tokyo Institute of Technology by mainly supporting those majors. In order for this to be realized, the understanding and support of members are required, and we would like to ask for your support.
Furthermore, we also would like to ask for your support for the continuation of this association. Therefore, we would like to have your active participation in IDEAL events for the years to come.
