Our Theory of Force Curves [*,**]
In our theory, all equations and all parameters are normalized.
The normalized force curve is the functional of following only two parameters.
- the normalized compliance of the measurement system.

- the normalized distance used in the expression of Lennard-Jones potential.

Please compare with Dr.Burnham's Theory.
We are very grateful to
Dr.H.M.Pollock
for his kind and helpful suggestion on the normalization
of the length longitudinal to the plane.
The 'h' in the normalizing parameter we used is from his initial of the first name.
