What do you major in?<\/strong><br \/>\nI am currently studying about renewable energy technologies and projects to provide sustainable solutions for the needs of society and the environment. This field of study touches on environmental economics and project management.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. What made you decide to study overseas?<\/strong><br \/>\nI was inspired to see what the outside world was about and somehow expand my network of friends, knowledge and capabilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Why did you choose IDE, Tokyo Institute of Technology?<\/strong><br \/>\nMulti-disciplinary approach is important for engineers in looking for sustainable solutions for society. IDE provides the opportunity to exercise that mindset.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. What are your career goals?<\/strong><br \/>\nI want to expand my reach and be able to influence people in a good way. As far as imaginable and as good as the heart can get is my goal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Can you describe IDE in a simple way?<\/strong><br \/>\nIDE is a specialized engineering discipline which addresses the holistic and sustainable growth of society.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. What has IDE given you the opportunity to do that you have never tried before?<\/strong><br \/>\nIDE has allowed me to approach a task with freedom in applying various kinds of solutions which are beyond my own expertise and current knowhow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. How do you like studying in Tokyo? Do you enjoy life in Japan?<\/strong><br \/>\nStudying in Tokyo has been a mind-opening experience. In addition to the academic experience, the social aspect of learning has been very fulfilling. Here, you can say you are the captain of your own ship. Of course, you just have to watch out for ice bergs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8. What is your favorite restaurant in town?<\/strong><br \/>\nMy favorite is what sustains me each day\u2026 the mobile bento shops. They have all sorts of menus in a box. It is like receiving a present each day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9. What are your favorite things to do on campus?<\/strong><br \/>\nI like playing basketball during lunch time. It is a great way to activate the mind. Also, walking around campus and greeting all your friends who pass by. It is always nice to hear what others are up and about with.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10. Some of the people reading this interview may want to come to Japan and study. Do you have any advice to give them?<\/strong><br \/>\n\u3088\u3046\u3053\u305d\u65e5\u672c\uff01\u3000If you can`t read that\u2026 Then you should come here!
